Carrier Dome Hotels

The Carrier Dome opened in September 1980, on the campus of Syracuse University. With seating for 49,250 fans, the Carrier Dome is the largest domed stadium of any college campus and the only domed stadium in the Northeast U.S. Home to SU athletic teams, the Dome has also hosted NCAA championships, NBA pre-season games, Olympic champion ice skating shows, the Billy Graham Crusade, and music concerts by U2, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Pink Floyd and many other performers. The New York State high school championship football game is played in the Dome.
